Legacy Oaks of Sacramento Assisted Living and Memory Care, located in Sacramento, CA is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable individual to serve in a dual role as a Life Enrichment Assistant & Transportation Driver. This position supports resident engagement through meaningful activities while also providing safe and dependable transportation for appointments and outings.

Responsibilities of the Life Enrichment Assistant &  Transportation Duties

• Assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning, coordinating and conducting resident activities. 
• Provide engaging activity programming that enhances residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being. 
• Tailor activities to meet residents' individual needs, preferences, and abilities.
• Assist in creating monthly activity calendars and newsletters. 
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and privacy.
• Safely transport residents to and from appointments and community outings. 
• Assist residents when entering and exiting the vehicle. 
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures during transport.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the community vehicle. 
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
• Complete all required state training upon hire and annually.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall resident care and engagement.

Required Experience

• Possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for word processing.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
• Valid driver's license (CDL if required) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum one (1) year of driving or transportation experience preferred. 
• State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement
• LIC 503 Health Screening Report
• Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented attitude. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
