Astoria Gardens Assisted Living & Memory Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech to provide exceptional care for our residents. If you are passionate about healthcare and delivering high-quality care, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

• Administer Medications: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation.
• Observation and Reporting: Record and report any changes in resident conditions or needs, ensuring comprehensive communication with the healthcare team and families.
• Collaboration with Health Services Team: Communicate with physicians, healthcare providers, and responsible parties regarding care and medical needs.
• Assist with Daily Living: Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in alignment with our person-centered care philosophy.
• Resident Support: Offer assistance with daily tasks as requested while ensuring privacy, respect, and dignity for all residents.
• Follow Infection Control Procedures: Adhere to all standard precautions and infection control practices to ensure the safety of our residents.
• Training and Compliance: Complete state-required training upon hire and annually to stay up to date on best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required.
• Language Proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Background Checks: State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement are required.
• Health Screening: LIC 503 Health Screening Report is required.
